HOW TO RENT
RENTAL POLICY
The renter is expected to know the operations and limitations of the items they rent. If there is an equipment problem or failure that we are not able to duplicate, all rental charges apply. Failure to understand the proper operation of equipment will not be accepted as reason for non-payment of rental charges. In the event of verifiable equipment failure, West Photo liability is limited to the rental charges only. West Photo reserves the right to refuse rental service without reason.

IDENTIFICATION & DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS
Customers are required to present a photo ID with current address prior to picking up rentals. The ID must be that of the person picking up the rental.
ID's without current address information are not acceptable.
Customers are required to provide a security/damage deposit for the equipment being rented. Only credit cards are accepted for deposits with the exception of American Express cards which are not accepted for deposits. The credit card used for deposit must belong to the renter.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS or AMERICAN EXPRESS CREDIT CARDS FOR DEPOSITS.
DEPOSITS (CONT.)
The deposit amount charged to the credit card will be refunded when the equipment is returned in good condition and all rental charges are paid. Please allow time for the banking system to process the refund.
The deposit amount will vary with the type and amount of equipment rented. If the value of the rental equipment exceeds $10,000, certificates of insurance (property and liability) may be required. Please allow five business days for review of insurance certificates.
Customers renting high value equipment are strongly encouraged to make sure that they have adequate and appropriate insurance coverage. Please note that most homeowner policies do not cover equipment in your possession that is not owned by you.
Written purchase orders from established businesses, institutions or government agencies may be accepted as a deposit subject to prior approval.
PLEASE NOTE: 100% of the deposit is returned/credited to the customer upon receipt of the equipment rented in good condition on the agreed upon return date and upon receipt of all applicable rental fees.
The rental customer is responsible for any and all costs related to damage, loss or theft of rental equipment while in their possession. The security/damage deposit may be applied to these costs. Any excess deposit will be refunded after the reparation costs have been determined.
EQUIPMENT CONDITION
Insurance is the sole responsibility of the renter. West Photo inspects all equipment for damage
when returned. Any damage to the equipment will be charged to the renter. West Photo recommends that the renter inspects the equipment condition upon pick up and tests the equipment before going to the job.
